BY-LAW and COVENANT REMINDERS


Dumping of Grass clippings and yard waste - Please do not dump or store grass clippings alongside trails and shared land.  Walking trails are not to be used to dump or store bags of lawn waste.  Our trails are for the enjoyment of the residents of Highpointe and open to the general public.  By dumping or storing such lawn bags by the trails is unsightly and poses a safety hazard to those using the trails increasing the liability risk for our HOA.  Please remind your lawn service companies of the by-laws and Malta Town ordinance – Chapter 121-12 - It shall be unlawful for any person, as owner, lessee, agent, tenant or otherwise, to throw, cast, spill or otherwise deposit or cause or permit to be thrown, cast, spilled or deposited any litter, rubbish and refuse, garbage, manure, offal or other decomposable organic or putrescible matter in or about any land or lot, vacant or otherwise, within the Town of Malta.

Advertising and Signs.  Except for signs erected by or with the permission of the Builder in connection with the development, sale or lease of homes, no additional sign of any kind shall be placed for display to the public view on any home, any lot, in any window of any home or other portion of the property.


Garbage pails cannot be stored in your driveway, except the night before pickup.

Above ground pools must be shielded from adjacent homes and street view.

Shutters and other exterior surfaces must be painted and/or properly maintained.  See Color Palette tab for more information.

Sheds need to be constructed of wood and should match the exterior of home in color.

Grass clippings should be put out to curb the night before pickup.

The following shall not be permitted to remain overnight on any lot or other portion of the property:
a)      Any oversized, commercial and/or unlicensed vehicle which cannot fit into the garage of the home and
b)      Any recreational vehicles, including , but not limited to, all terrain vehicles, motor bikes, motorcycles, minibikes, snowmobiles, boats and boat trailers, campers or other such vehicles, unless contained within the garage of the home.
